We offer many services, including the following neurophysiological testing:

Electroencephalograph (EEG)

This is a painless procedure with no side effects.  The EEG records the brain's continuous electrical activity by using electrodes attached to the scalp. This test is used to diagnose structural diseases of the brain and episodes such as seizures, fainting and blacking out.

Evoked Potentials (EVP's)

This is a computerized and painless test which will record your brain's electrical response to visual, auditory and sensory stimuli. Each test takes approximately 45 minutes. These tests are used to evaluate and diagnose symptoms of dizziness, numbness and tingling, as well as some visual disorders.

24 Hour Ambulatory EEG

This is a painless procedure with no side effects.  During the 24 hour ambulatory EEG a cassette records brain waves as you proceed during normal activities of daily living.

Nerve Conduction Study/Electromyography (EMG)

These tests measure and record electrical activity from the muscles and nerves.  This may be helpful in cases of pain, numbness, tingling or weakness. Small pin electrodes are inserted into the muscle and mild electrical stimuli are given to the nerve which may cause some discomfort.

Botox Injections

Botox treatment is conducted in the office.  Treatment is performed by injecting various muscles with a small needle. Botox injections have shown to be effective in treating dystonia, hemifacial spasms, spasticity and chronic migraine. Procedures may cause mild discomfort.

Sleep Studies

Sleep studies are performed in a sleep lab located in our office.  Polysomnography and MSLT are performed to evaluate sleep apnea, narcolepsy and excessive daytime somnolence.

Neuropsychological Testing

Neuropsychological testing is a computerized test conducted in our office.  It is used to evaluate cognition such as memory, attention deficit disorder and problem solving.

 Neurosonography (Carotid Doppler, Transcranial Doppler)

Neurosonography uses high frequency sound waves which enable neurologists to analyze blood flow in cases of stroke. This is a painless procedure
